This is the copy of On The Road that I read over twenty years ago. I haven't read it since, but it affected most things I did afterwards. It's a 1980 edition, all american airbrushing picture, big car etc. It belonged to the brother of my partner. We've been together since the mid eighties. I was best friends with her brother before that. I must have borrowed it. We went on the road from 1980 onwards for a few years, then we sort of settled down I guess.
